Description: As part of the governments health and nutrition initiative for school children the following medicines are regularly provided in our school: 1. Iron Tablets These are given daily to students. For students of Class 1 to 5 the iron tablets are provided in pink boxes. For students of Class 6 to 10 the iron tablets are provided in blue boxes. The main purpose of providing iron tablets is to prevent iron deficiency and anemia in children. 2. Albendazole Tablets These are given once every six months (biannually). This deworming tablet is administered to ensure that children remain free from intestinal worms which can affect their nutrition and overall health. The school ensures timely and proper distribution of these medicines as per the government guidelines contributing to better health and learning outcomes among students.
