Description: To celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan and to encourage creativity among students a Rakhi-making competition was organized in the school on 8th August 2025 (Friday) for classes Nursery to IX. The event aimed to promote the cultural significance of the festival while giving students an opportunity to express their emotions through art and craft. The competition was held in two categories based on classes: Classes I to V: The theme was Showing your love for your brother through a Rakhi. Students came up with beautiful and imaginative designs using colorful threads beads sequins and decorative materials to make unique and attractive rakhis. Their creations reflected affection and creativity. Classes VI to IX: The theme was Showing your love for the soldier brothers through your Rakhi. Students enthusiastically prepared special rakhis dedicated to the brave soldiers who safeguard our nation. The rakhis carried patriotic colors and thoughtful messages showcasing their respect and gratitude towards the armed forces. The students from Nursery and Kindergarten also participated with great excitement and joy making simple yet vibrant rakhis with the help of their teachers. The event was marked by enthusiastic participation artistic excellence and a deep sense of cultural pride. The beautifully crafted rakhis were displayed in the classrooms and the best entries from each class were awarded. The Rakhi-making competition not only highlighted the students creative skills but also strengthened their emotional bond with their brothers and the soldiers of the country.
